Jill Joyce,
PhD, is a clinical therapist, who has worked with memory loss patients and
their families for over 20 years. She also has studied,
researched, and taught university classes on memory loss throughout her career.
Dr. Jill also has personal experience with memory
loss. She has helped her own mother overcome age-associated
memory impairment (AAMI) by giving her PS 500 mg & PC 500 mg per day. She
also lived with her aging
grandmother when she began to decline due to Alzheimer's.
From her clinical work, Dr. Jill has viewed memory
loss from its many vantage points, including: Aphasia, stroke, head injury,
thyroid disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, bi-polar, anxiety disorders,
depression, Alzheimer's, epilepsy, and substance and hormone related memory
losses.
In her book, she offers causes, treatments,
prevention, and life strategies and explains why medical professionals do not
typically offer these avenues to families at this time though there was a time
when they did. The book is also summarized in her audio CD's for easy listening.
Dr. Jill is available for speaking
engagements and will return calls to those who seek her assistance. Also you can
e-mail your questions, difficulties, or success stories.
